The Friends of VA Medical Care and Health Research (FOVA) applauds the final FY 2026 Military Construction-Veterans Affairs appropriations agreement, which provides $945 million (+$2 million from FY25) for the VA Medical and Prosthetic Research program.

FOVA appreciates that this full-year funding package enables ongoing investigations, clinical trials, and public–private research partnerships to continue without disruption.

FOVA remains committed to working with Congress, the Administration and VA leadership to safeguard the research enterprise and advance the health and well-being of all who served.
