Brief Description |
The Southern California Institute for Research and Education (SCIRE) has 20 years experience in industry-sponsored, investigator-initiated, and federally funded research. SCIRE also works with the Employee Education System at VABHCS to support educational programs, conferences and teleconferences for VA staff. The VALBHCS has both AALAC and AHRPP accreditation. In addition, the facility has a BSL-3 lab for TB studies and a spinal cord injury treatment center on site. The patient population includes a large contingent of Hep-C patients and a new clinic focusing on medical care for returning OEF and OIF veterans. |
