Brief Description |
Midwest Biomedical Research Foundation supports clinical research and educational studies that improve treatment and cure health problems prevalant among veteran patients and the relevant general population. We currently have 174 active research projects and a staff of 45 investigators. The clinical trials and educational opportunities are an extended service to the veterans who participate. They are able to receive "state-of-the-art" medication and treatment. This is especially beneficial to cancer patients who have been treated with the current medication without success. As these drugs come to market, they benefit the entire treated population. |
