Brief Description |
The WJB Dorn VA is affiliated with the university of South Carolina. The school of Medicine is located on the VA campus. This affords close operation between us. The Dorn Research Institute also works with the South Carolina Research Authority and the Palmetto Health Care System. The Dorn VA is also unique in that we have a mental health clinic at Fort Jackson affording us access to service members as they transition to civilian life. Currently we have industry studies in Oncology, Renal and Endocrinology and VA Coop Studies in ID and Renal. With our pool of patients we are looking to expand in mental health, chronic illnesses and ID. |
